A parade (also called march or marchpast) is a procession of people, usually organized along a street, often in costume, and often accompanied by marching bands, floats or sometimes large balloons. Parades are held for a wide range of reasons, but are usually celebrations of some kind. In Britain the term parade is usually reserved for either military parades or other occasions where participants march in formation; for celebratory occasions the word procession is more usual. In the Canadian Forces the term also has several less formal connotations.

Parade is an American nationwide Sunday newspaper magazine, distributed in more than 500 newspapers in the United States. It was founded in 1941 and is owned by Advance Publications. The most widely read magazine in the U.S., Parade has a circulation of 32.2 million and a readership of nearly 70 million. , its editor is Maggie Murphy. The previous editor was Janice Kaplan.

Der Koordinierungsrat säkularer Organisationen (KORSO) ist ein Dachverband säkularer Organisationen in Deutschland. Er wurde am 16. November 2008 in Berlin gegründet und versteht sich als Interessenvertretung der Konfessionsfreien in Deutschland. Der KORSO tritt ein gegen die Diskriminierung nicht-religiöser Gruppen und Individuen gegenüber religiösen, für die Gleichstellung von Religions- und Weltanschauungsgemeinschaften und für die Trennung von Staat und Kirche.

Mit Korso (von ital. corso = Lauf, Laufbahn, Hauptstraße, dieses wiederum von lat. cursus = Lauf, Fahrt) bezeichnete man früher vor dem 18. Jahrhundert ein Wettrennen reiterloser Pferde, wie sie vor allem in Italien auf Straßen und Plätzen stattfanden (siehe Palio). Als Plural gelten die Formen Plural 1 Kor·sos und Plural 2 Kor·si.

Un défilé est un cortège organisé des personnes souvent costumées, des militaires, des manifestants, ou pour des raisons culturelles ou commerciales (défilé de mode), le long d'une rue, dans une ville ou sur un itinéraire ayant une valeur symbolique.
