low-carbon economy

A low-carbon economy is an economy in which carbon dioxide emissions from the use of carbon based fuels (coal, oil and gas) are freezed and significantly reduced.. The full reduction (phase-out) appears later only in the zero-carbon (also called post carbon) economy, where any carbon emissions are not allowed.
