LOUD
LOUD (LCSEE Optimized Ubuntu Distribution) is a modified version of the Ubuntu Linux distribution used within West Virginia University's computer science department. In addition to the standard Ubuntu packages, the department also maintains several packages containing software and scripts for use in the department's classes.

John Claudius Loudon
John Claudius Loudon (Cambuslang, presso Glasgow, 8 aprile 1783 - Bayswater, presso Londra, 14 dicembre 1843) fu un botanico, architetto e progettista di giardini scozzese.
Fu il promotore dello stile "gardenesque", sintesi tra il pittoresco e uno stile più geometrico e formale derivato dai grandi giardini storici europei.
