Longeron
In aircraft construction, a longeron or stringer or stiffener is a thin strip of material, to which the skin of the aircraft is fastened. In the fuselage, longerons are attached to formers (also called frames) and run the longitudinal direction of the aircraft. In the wing or horizontal stabilizer, longerons run spanwise and attach to ribs.

Stringer sind Längsversteifungen im Leichtbau und werden bei Flugzeugen und Raketen, aber auch im Schiffbau verwendet. Sie erhöhen die Steifigkeit von großen flächigen Bauteilen und verhindern das Ausbeulen.

Le Longeron to miejscowość i gmina we Francji, w regionie Kraj Loary, w departamencie Maine-et-Loire.

Według danych na rok 1990 gminę zamieszkiwało 1 955 osób, a gęstość zaludnienia wynosiła 89 osób/km² (wśród 1504 gmin  Kraju Loary Le Longeron plasuje się na 307. miejscu pod względem liczby ludności, natomiast pod względem powierzchni na miejscu 485.).
