logos

(Greek ) is an important term in philosophy, analytical psychology, rhetoric and religion. It derives from the verb lego: to say. This is the primary meaning of the word. Secondary meanings such as logic, thought etc. derive from the fact that if one is capable of λέγειν (infinitive) i.e. speech, then intelligence and thought are assumed.

Logos, dérive du grec , lógos « parole, discours » et désigne le discours (textuel ou parlé). Par extension, logos désigne également la « rationalité » (l'intelligence), conséquente à la capacité à utiliser une langue (γλῶσσα, γλῶττα « langue »).

Logos (gr. ) – według  stoików "rozum świata". Tak jak Heraklit, tak i stoicy uważali, że wszyscy ludzie są częścią rozumu świata, czyli logosu. Uważali, że człowiek to świat w miniaturze, czyli mikrokosmos, będący odbiciem makrokosmosu. Heraklit stwierdza, że "duszy jest logos sam siebie wspierający".
