Logic (from Classical Greek λόγος logos; meaning word, thought, idea, argument, account, reason, or principle) is the study of the principles and criteria of valid inference and demonstration.As a formal science, logic investigates and classifies the structure of statements and arguments, both through the study of formal systems of inference and through the study of arguments in natural language. The field of logic ranges from core topics such as the study of fallacies and paradoxes, to specialized analysis of reasoning using probability and to arguments involving causality. Logic is also commonly used today in argumentation theory.

Logic [] ist ein Computerprogramm zur Erstellung und Bearbeitung von Tondateien. Das Programm unterscheidet zwischen zwei Arten von Tonspuren, und zwar MIDI und Audio. Es gibt eine Pro- und eine Express-Version, letztere unterscheidet sich von der Pro-Version vor allem in Preis und Funktionsumfang.Bis Version 6 wurde die Software von der deutschen Firma Emagic entwickelt, die bereits 2002 von Apple aufgekauft wurde. Die Weiterentwicklung von Logic für Microsoft Windows wurde daraufhin eingestellt. Seitdem ist Logic nur für Apple Macintosh erhältlich. Die letzte Version, die für Windows verfügbar war, ist 5.5.1. Während Version 6 noch den Namen Emagic trug, ist Logic seit Version 7 offiziell ein Apple-Produkt. Apple konsolidierte über 20 verschiedene Emagic Produkte, unter anderem alle Instrumente und Effekt Plug-Ins, Waveburner Pro (CD Authoring Applikation), und das Pro Tools TDM support package, in ein einzelnes Produkt genannt Logic Pro (Die TDM Kompatibilität wird derzeit noch nicht von Logic 7 auf einem INTEL-Macintosh bereitgestellt).

Logik (griech. ἡ λογική (τέχνη) [he logiké téchne] „die denkende [Kunst, Vorgehensweise]“) ist die Lehre des vernünftigen (Schluss-)Folgerns. Die Logik untersucht die Gültigkeit von Argumenten hinsichtlich ihrer Struktur unabhängig vom konkreten Inhalt der eigentlichen Aussagen. In diesem Sinne spricht man auch von „formaler“ Logik. Die Logik ist sowohl ein Teilgebiet der Philosophie als auch der Mathematik und der Informatik.

Zajmuje się badaniem ogólnych praw, według których przebiegają wszelkie poprawne rozumowania, w szczególności wnioskowania. Logika, jako dyscyplina normatywna, nie tylko opisuje jak faktycznie przebiegają rozumowania, ale także formułuje twierdzenia normatywne, mówiące o tym, jak rozumowania powinny przebiegać.
