Data logger
A data logger (also datalogger or data recorder) is an electronic device that records data over time or in relation to location either with a built in instrument or sensor or via external instruments and sensors. Increasingly, but not entirely, they are based on a digital processor (or computer). They generally are small, battery powered, portable, and equipped with a microprocessor, internal memory for data storage, and sensors. Some data loggers interface with a personal computer and utilize software to activate the data logger and view and analyze the collected data, while others have a local interface device (keypad, LCD) and can be used as a stand-alone device.

In computer science, the iterated logarithm of n, written n (usually read "log star"), is the number of times the logarithm function must be iteratively applied before the result is less than or equal to 1. The simplest formal definition is the result of this recursive function:

Lamb of God (band)
Lamb of God is an American heavy metal band from Richmond, Virginia. Formed in 1994, the group consists of vocalist Randy Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, bassist John Campbell, and drummer Chris Adler. The band is considered to be a part of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal movement.

Marr-Hildreth-Operator
Der Marr-Hildreth-Operator oder Laplacian of Gaussian (LoG) ist eine spezielle Form eines diskreten Laplace-Filters und kommt zum Beispiel in der Bildverarbeitung bei der Detektion von Kanten zum Einsatz. Der Filterkernel wird durch die Anwendung des Laplace-Operators auf eine Gauß-Funktion erstellt. Da seine Form der eines mexikanischen Sombreros ähnelt, ist er auch als Mexican Hat oder Sombrerofilter bekannt. Der LoG ist ein isotropes Maß der zweiten Ableitung an ein Bild. Deswegen detektiert er Orte großer Veränderung. In einem Bild sind das gerade Kanten von Objekten, an denen sich die Intensität schnell ändert. Es handelt sich also um einen Filter, der zur Kantendetektion genutzt werden kann.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (dt. Die Liga der außergewöhnlichen Gentlemen) ist eine Comicreihe von Alan Moore und Kevin O'Neill, die seit 1999 erscheint. Sie spielt im Jahre 1898 und handelt von literarischen Figuren, die sich zum Kampf gegen Feinde des britischen Empires zur titelgebenden Gruppierung zusammengeschlossen haben. Bisher sind drei Bände in der englischen Originalsprache erschienen, von denen zwei ins Deutsche übersetzt wurden.

Historique (informatique)
En informatique, le concept d'historique des événements ou de logging désigne l'enregistrement séquentiel dans un fichier ou une base de données de tous les événements affectant un processus particulier (application, activité d'un réseau informatique...). Le journal (en anglais log file ou plus simplement log), désigne alors le fichier contenant ces enregistrements. Généralement datés et classés par ordre chronologique, ces derniers permettent d'analyser pas à pas l'activité interne du processus et ses interactions avec son environnement.

Logarithme itéré
En informatique, le logarithme itéré d'un nombre n est le nombre de fois que le logarithme doit lui être appliqué avant que le resultat soit inférieur ou égal à 1. La plus simple définition formelle est le resultat de cette fonction récursive:

Baranek Bozy
Baranek Boży (łac. Agnus Dei) - tytuł, którego w Nowym Testamencie używał wobec Jezusa Chrystusa Jan Chrzciciel (J 1, 29). Jest to odwołanie do nauki starotestamentowej, w której ofiara z baranka jest ofiarą składaną Bogu. Baranek Boży symbolizuje ofiarę Jezusa na krzyżu, którą złożył dla odkupienia ludzkości (Iz 53, 7).

Lamb of God
Lamb of God – amerykański zespół pochodzący z Richmond w stanie Wirginia. Grupa, poprzednio znana jako Burn The Priest jest powszechnie uznawany za przedstawiciela nurtu muzycznego metalcore (z wpływami innych gatunków). Muzykę zespołu charakteryzują szybkie gitary, błyskawiczne podwójne stopki oraz growling wokalisty.

Log (informatyka)
Log (czasem też dziennik, plik dziennika, rejestr zdarzeń) to w informatyce chronologiczny zapis zawierający informację o zdarzeniach i działaniach dotyczących systemu komputerowego, na przykład faktu uruchomienia lub logowania się do komputera, uzyskania połączenia sieciowego, awarii drukarki itp. Log przeważnie służy do rejestracji błędów podczas wykonywania pracy programów, do zapisów zmian w bazach danych, itp. Czynność zapisywania do logów nazywana jest logowaniem — nie mylić z logowaniem się do systemu.

Logarytm iterowany
Logarytm iterowany, zapisywany jako 
, to funkcja używana głównie w informatyce, w teorii złożoności obliczeniowej.
Logarytm iterowany definiujemy jako liczbę złożeń logarytmu o podstawie 2, zanim otrzymamy liczbę mniejszą bądź równą 1.
Jest to funkcja bardzo wolno rosnąca, przykładowo dla wszystkich 
wartość logarytmu iterowanego nie przekracza 
. Z tego względu, dla większości praktycznych zastosowań wartość tej funkcji można traktować jako niewielką stałą.
