LINK is a project started in 1968 by Wharton Econometric Forecasting Associates or WEFA, (now Global Insight), to build the world's first global macroeconomic model, linking models of many of the world's countries so that the effect of changes in the economy of one country are reflected in other countries.

Link ist ein mit dem deutschen Wort "Gelenk" verwandtes Lehnwort aus dem Englischen (engl. link "Kettenglied, Verbindungsglied"), das im Deutschen ursprünglich als Neutrum aufgefasst wurde ("das Missing Link", "das Link" als Längenmaß), bei der erneuten Entlehnung in die deutsche Fach- und Umgangssprache des Computerwesens dort aber zumeist als Maskulinum aufgefasst wurde ("der Hyperlink" neben "das Hyperlink") und auch im Duden für die computersprachliche Verwendung nur noch in der männlichen Form aufgeführt wird.

LINK is een Vlaams Links-Liberaal tijdschrift, in het leven geroepen door verschillende mensen uit de omgeving van SPIRIT toen Geert Lambert voorzitter werd van de partij. Het nulnummer verscheen in het najaar van 2004. Het blad wil een denktank voeden op het gebied van links-liberalisme.Vanwege de achtergrond van het blad is er vrij veel informatie in te vinden over regionalisme, met name de communautaire kwesties in België komen aan bod. Ook de Europese Vrije Alliantie en de diverse aangesloten regionalistische partijen hebben er een platform. Daarnaast hebben inmiddels Nederlandse politici de weg naar het blad gevonden.

Studievereniging LiNK is de studievereniging van de academie Toegepaste Kunst & Techniek aan de Saxion Hogeschool. De academie Toegepaste Kunst & Techniek is de jongste academie van de Saxion Hogeschool. Studievereniging LiNK heeft als doel de belangen van de betreffende studenten, medewerkers en andere betrokkenen te behartigen. Dit houdt onder andere in dat het onderwijs door middel van evaluaties en discussies op een zo hoog mogelijk niveau wordt gebracht. Ook geeft LiNK haar leden op allerlei manieren de kans om ervaringen op te doen, te oriënteren en in contact te komen met de toekomstige arbeidssituatie. Zo worden er excursies naar bedrijven georganiseerd en vinden er cursussen plaats.
