Liège (; , ; ; ; ; ; ; until 17 September 1946 the city's name was written , with the acute accent instead of a grave accent) is a major city and municipality of Belgium located in the province of Liège, of which it is the economic capital, in Wallonia, the French-speaking region of Belgium.

Liège
Liège (niderl. Luik, niem. Lüttich, wal. Lidje, łac. Leodium), miasto we wschodniej Belgii, nad Mozą, w pobliżu granicy z Holandią i Niemcami. Największy ośrodek francuskiego obszaru językowego w Belgii. Stolica prowincji o tej samej nazwie.
Gmina Liège składa się z Angleur, Bressoux, Chênée, Glain, Grivegnée, Jupille-sur-Meuse, Rocourt i Wandre.
Miasto jest głównym centrum ekonomicznym i kulturowym Walonii. Aglomeracja liczy 476 000 do 600 000 mieszkańców (w zależności od tego, gdzie umiejscowimy jej granice) i jest trzecią największą aglomeracją w Belgii po Brukseli i Antwerpii. Liège jest także drugim największym miastem w Walonii po Charleroi.
