Let Loose were a
1990s British pop/rock trio, featuring
Richie Wermerling (
vocals/
keyboards), Rob Jeffrey (
guitar) and Lee Murray (
drums). The band initially scored minor success with their first 3 singles 'Crazy For You' (#44), 'The Way I Wanna Be' (#89) and 'Seventeen'(#44), They also released 'Face To Face' which was withdrawn from sale by the record company but due to shops receiving limited stock the track still managed to chart at #108. 'Crazy For You' was eventually re-mixed and re-released in the UK entering the charts at #24 and climbing each week to finally reach a #2 peak selling over 400,000 copies in the process, The success of 'Crazy For You' lead to yet another re-release of a previous single 'Seventeen', The track was unable to match the popularity of 'Crazy For You' and peaked at #11.
