Legenda, or the MKRC Legenda system, is a Soviet satellite targeting system mated to the SS-N-19 missile. It consisted of the US-P SIGNIT satellites and the US-A Radar Ocean reconnaissance satellites, which were nuclear powered.Legenda is now believed to be non-functional after the US-A sats were deactivated.

Legenda (łac. legenda - 'to co winno być przeczytane') w literaturze to opowieść, posługująca się elementami niezwykłości oraz cudowności, związanej z życiem świętych i męczenników. Informuje o powstaniu jakiegoś miasta lub państwa, zawiera zdarzenia historyczne, najczęściej występuje w niej jakiś bohater lub rycerz. Często osnuta na wątkach ludowych i apokryficznych; rozpowszechniona w średniowieczu. Pierwotnie przekazywana ustnie, następnie zapisywana.

De legenda (ook: legende) is het gedeelte van een kaart of model waarop wordt uitgelegd wat de afzonderlijke kaartsymbolen betekenen.Ook de grootte van de schaal en een getekende afstandsregel (schaalstok) kunnen tot een legenda worden gerekend.Bij digitale kaarten verdient een schaalstok de voorkeur boven een schaal.

Seu maior uso é na tradução de textos e diálogos de filmes, acompanhando o mesmo em sobreposição, normalmente na zona inferior da película.Já no jornalismo, legendas são os textos que aparecem imediatamente abaixo ou ao lado (ou ainda, mais raramente, acima) de uma fotografia, identificando-a, contextualizando-a e acrescentando alguma informação a partir da matéria que a acompanha.
