The Land of Israel (Hebrew: אֶרֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵל, Masoretic: ʼẸreṣ Yiśrāēl, Hebrew Academy: Éreẓ Yisrael, Yiddish: ) is a term and concept in Jewish thought concerning what is considered to be the historic and divinely ordained/given territory of the Jewish People.
