Lag
Lag (, German Long) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Czersk, within Chojnice County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately north-east of Czersk, north-east of Chojnice, and south-west of the regional capital Gdansk.

Lag is a common word meaning to fail to keep up or to fall behind. In real-time applications, the term is used when the application fails to respond in a timely fashion to inputs. The most common use regards online gaming when the game doesn't respond in sync with the player's controls, usually due to a slow internet connection, server latency or overworked hardware.

Laag (, ) is a frazione of the comune of Neumarkt in South Tyrol in the Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 30 km northeast of the city of Trento and about 25 km south of the city of Bolzano. Laag is situated on the plain (213 m) on the left side of the Adige river.

Lag
Lag (von engl. „Verzögerung“) ist ein Wort des Netzjargons für eine von einem Benutzer wahrnehmbare, vorübergehend erhöhte Verzögerungszeit in Computernetzwerken („schlechten Ping“). Diese tritt meist bei Problemen mit einer Server-Client-Verbindung auf, wenn Datenpakete zwischen den Teilnehmern einer solchen Verbindung unerwartet lange Zeit benötigen, um ihr Ziel zu erreichen. Wenn dies nur bei wenigen Datenpaketen eintritt, spricht man von einzelnen „Lags“. „Lag“ im allgemeinen bezeichnet dagegen eine länger andauernde verzögerte Datenübertragung.

Łąg (kaszb.Łãg, niem.Long) – duża wieś kociewska w Polsce położona w województwie pomorskim, w powiecie chojnickim, w gminie Czersk w pobliżu linii kolejowej Tczew-Starogard Gdański-Chojnice i na trasie drogi krajowej nr 22.
W latach 1975-1998 miejscowość administracyjnie należała do województwa bydgoskiego. Inne miejscowości o nazwie Łąg: Łąg-Kolonia

Lag (latencja) – interwał czasowy (opóźnienie) między wysłaniem pakietu informacji, a jego odebraniem. W lokalnych sieciach komputerowych zwykle mierzy się go w nanosekundach, w sieciach takich jak internet jest on rzędu kilkudziesięciu milisekund, jednak w przypadku wystąpienia problemów z funkcjonowaniem sieci (spowodowanych np. przeciążeniem serwera), może dojść do jego wydłużenia – nawet do kilku sekund.
