Argentina. It is a state owned airline operated by the military and providing domestic scheduled services. Its main base is
Aeroparque Jorge Newbery, Buenos Aires, with a hub at General Enrique Mosconi Airport,
Comodoro Rivadavia. LADE is one of only two airlines in the world to still operate Boeing 707's in passenger service, serving Rio Gallegos and Comodoro Rivadavia from El Palomar Air Force Base, near Buenos Aires.(The other airline is Saha Airlines of Iran, owned by the Iranian Air Force.)
