Lachès
Le Lachès (ou Sur le courage) est un dialogue de Platon. Il appartient à la série dite des « Premiers Dialogues », composés à l’époque où l’auteur était encore jeune.

Laches
Laches - wódz ateński, syn Melanoposa. W roku 427 wraz z Charojadesem dowodził flotą, wysłaną na pomoc Leontynom sycylijskim. Prześladowany przez Kleona, po jego śmierci znowu zajmował ważne stanowiska. Wraz z Nikiaszem w roku 421 p.n.e. brał udział w układach pokojowych. W roku 418 został wysłany na pomoc Argiwom, zginął pod Mantyneją. Jeden z dialogów Platona otrzymał nazwę od jego imienia.
