krieg

Krieg (German for "War") was a black metal band from the Somers Point, New Jersey in the United States of America. They played a low-fi, "raw" style, drawing influence from the Darkthrone-esque style of black metal and did not use synthesizers or folk instruments. With the only permanent member being Imperial (Neill Jameson) live members were drawn from an array of various bands, such as Nykalgia, Nachtmystium, Forest of Impaled, and Satanic Warmaster. The band split-up in 2006, and Imperial went on to create N.I.L. (Nihilism Is Liberation). While not a continuation of Krieg, N.I.L. reflects considerable black metal influence.

Krieg est un groupe de rock originaire des États-Unis se situant dans la vague de black metal suicidaire appelé USBM (United States black metal). Krieg a annoncé au label Battlekomando que le groupe changera bientôt de nom pour Nil. Lord Imperial est le principal personnage derrière ce groupe extrême.

Ein Krieg führt immer zum Tod zahlreicher Menschen und zu großem Leid. Die Formen des Krieges sind vielfältig und nicht unbedingt an Staatssysteme gebunden: Er kann beispielsweise als Bürgerkrieg, Unabhängigkeitskrieg oder bewaffneter Konflikt auch innerhalb von Staaten stattfinden, zum Weltkrieg oder zum Völkermord werden.

Krieg (niem. wojna) - amerykański zespół z New Jersey, grający black metal. W swojej twórczości nie używają instrumentów klawiszowych czy folkowych instrumentów. Największy wpływ na ich muzykę miała norweska legenda Darkthrone. Jedynym stałym członkiem był Imperial (Neill Jameson). Z powodu tego, że pozostali członkowie byli bardziej zajęci innymi zespołami, Krieg w roku 2006 rozpadł się. Imperial po tym założył nowy zespół, który nosi nazwę N.I.L.. Udziela się on również w projekcie March In To The Sea, który gra muzykę z gatunku Drone/Doom.
