judíos

El pueblo judío es un grupo étnico descendiente de los antiguos israelitas  de Oriente Medio y de aquellos que se fueron convirtiendo a lo largo de los milenios adoptando su religión. La religión constituye, por tanto, un aspecto fundamental de la pertenencia étnica al pueblo judío, si bien éste comparte además prácticas culturales, sociológicas, lingüísticas, etcétera. La definición precisa de judío es controvertida y puede variar dependiendo de que se haga mayor énfasis en la identidad religiosa o en la secular (étnica y sociológica).
