Jacaranda
Jacaranda is a genus of 49 species of flowering plants in the family Bignoniaceae, native to tropical and subtropical regions of Central AmericaMexicoSouth America (especially ArgentinaBrazilPeru and Uruguay), and the Caribbean. It is also found in Asia, especially in Nepal. It is found throughout the Americas and Caribbean, and has been introduced to AustraliaNew ZealandIndiaFiji and parts of Africa. The genus name is also used as the common name.

Prosopis kuntzei
Prosopis kuntzei (synonym Prosopis casadensis) is a South American leguminous tree species that inhabits the westernmost Gran Chaco forests covering areas of ArgentinaBolivia, and Paraguay, where it acts as natural component. It has also been able to colonize the nearby pasture sabanas. It's commonly referred to as itín, palo mataco, carandá or barba de tigre. It is adapted to arid climate, but can also survive flooded ground for a long time.

Les jacarandas sont des arbres du genre Jacaranda, de la famille des Bignoniaceae, originaire du Brésil. L'espèce la plus commune est le flamboyant bleu (Jacaranda mimosifolia).

Jakaranda
Jakaranda, palisanderträ är en art i familjen katalpaväxter från ArgentinaBrasilienParaguay och Uruguay. Trädet, vars krona blir nästan helt blålila under blomperioden, är vanligt förekommande i Montevideo och Buenos Aires gator och parker. Det ger ett hårt träslag i brunviolett nyans som används till finare snickeriarbeten och som greppbrädor på stränginstrument, då under det engelska namnet Rosewood.
