Invasion
An invasion is a military action consisting of armed forces of one geopolitical entity entering territory controlled by another such entity, generally with the objective of either conquering territory, altering the established government, or a combination thereof. An invasion can be the cause of a war, it can be used as a part of a larger strategy to end a war, or it can constitute an entire war in itself.

WWF Invasion
This article is about the Pay-per-view. For the storyline, see The Invasion (professional wrestling) Invasion (sometimes typeset "InVasion" or alternatively billed as Invasion: WCW/ECW vs. WWF ) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event that took place on July 22 2001 at the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The official theme song was "Creature Discomfort" (a World Wrestling Federation production) by Jim Johnston. Invasion took the place of Fully Loaded as part of the ongoing Invasion storyline. As part of the angle, Linda McMahon had every match feature WWF wrestlers against WCW/ECW wrestlers.
