Instrumental rock & roll is a type of rock and roll music which emphasises musical instruments, and which features no or very little singing.Examples of instrumental rock & roll can be found in practically every subgenre of rock, often from musicians who specialize in the style, like Dick Dale, The Ventures, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Booker T and the MGs and The Champs. Mainstream bands like Metallica, Rush, and The Allman Brothers Band also have had success with instrumental rock.
