The word infinity comes from the Latin infinitas or "unboundedness." Fleischman was soon replaced by Steve Perry. With "Feeling That Way", Perry would share the vocals with former singer of the band and keyboardist Gregg Rolie.

Infinite est le tout premier album d'Eminem, sorti en novembre 1996. A l'origine, seulement des cassettes et vinyls de l'album ont été édité. Faute de moyens, Eminem les vendait à l'arrière de sa voiture dans les rues de Detroit. Les critiques ont été très dures envers cet album, jugeant Eminem pas du tout crédible.
