Hunger is a sensation experienced when one feels the physiological need to eat food. In contrast Satiety is the absence of hunger; it is the sensation of feeling full.  Appetite is another sensation experienced with eating, however, it differs from hunger; it is the desire to eat food without a physiological need. The often unpleasant feeling of hunger originates from the hypothalamus releasing hormones that target receptors in the liver. Although a healthy, well-nourished individual can survive for weeks without food intake, the sensation of hunger typically manifests after only a few hours without eating and is generally considered to be unpleasant.

Eisuke (Osamu Mukai), a former bassist of a rock band who gave up his music dreams to carry on the tradition of his family’s French restaurant. The show will involve a love triangle as Kuninaka and Takimoto play rivals for Eisuke’s heart.

Hunger är en känsla som uppstår hos människor och djur då magsäcken är tom. Känslan av hunger uppstår genom aktivitet i ett hjärncentrum kallat för hypotalamus, som känner av den låga nivån av glukos i blodet och dessutom tar emot hormoner från magsäcken vilken signalerar att den är tom. Bland de hormoner som styr hunger ingår bland annat:

• Ghrelin
• Orexin
• Leptin

Głód - fizj. odczucie stanu organizmów wyższych związanego z niedoborem  pożywienia, składników pokarmowych (takich jak np. białka, tłuszcze, cukry, witaminy czy sole mineralne) lub wody. Jest on także popędem przyczyniającym się do zachowań skierowanych na pobieranie pokarmu i jego zdobywanie.
