- A atribuição de títulos honoríficos, que são títulos que pretendem demonstrar a distinção de honra reconhecida a determinadas pessoas de uma condição social mais elevada. É o caso dos membros da realeza, a quem lhes é atribuído e reconhecido o título honorífico de Sua Alteza Real/Suas Altezas Reais, e o caso dos membros da nobreza, a quem lhes é atribuído e reconhecido o título honorífico de Sua Excelência/Suas Excelências.

Honor
El honor es un concepto ideológico que funcionaba como justificación de las relaciones sociales durante un gran periodo de la Historia de la Civilización Occidental, desde la conformación del feudalismo en la Edad Media y continuó operante en las sociedades de Antiguo Régimen (la Edad Moderna en Francia, España...) mientras la nobleza siguió siendo clase dominante. El concepto pervivió en formaciones sociales históricas que se convierten en sociedades de clase o burguesas (Inglaterra), y en toda Europa durante la Edad Contemporánea; pero su función es ya otra, exagerando sus extremos más románticos (por ejemplo, el duelo, que tiene su edad de oro en el siglo XIX).

Ex: Various publishers have reputations for specific styles, subject areas or works for specific audiences.
Ex: Searching descriptor fields for such key terms, e.g. 'FIND: self-esteem in de', can be far more precise than a free text search, eliminating false hits.
Ex: Duelling is right -- a moral duty for an honourable person -- because the only just and fair law is the law of personal honour.
