"Honeycomb / Gotham" is the first single leading up to Animal Collective's tenth studio album, Centipede Hz, released as a double A-side. It was announced via the band's official website and was and still is available for free streaming on May 6th, 2012. The physical single was put up for presale on Domino's online store, with an MP3 download being available instantly. Neither of the songs are to be released on the upcoming album.

Les alvéoles d'abeilles, construits en cire par les abeilles ouvrières afin de stocker le miel et le pollen ou les œufs et les larves, sont des prismes juxtaposés d’axes horizontaux qui constituent le gâteau de cire. Ce gâteau de cire est ainsi formé de deux séries d’alvéoles hexagonaux se rejoignant en leur base.

Honeycomb är Frank Blacks elfte soloalbum. Albumet spelades in i Nashville och flertalet kända studiomusiker medverkade, bland andra Anton Fig och Steve Cropper.
