Oslo University College (OUC), Norwegian: Høgskolen i Oslo (HiO) is the largest state university college in Norway, with more than 11,000 students and approx. 1100 employees.HiO was established August 1 1994 when the Norwegian college system was restructured and 18 smaller colleges in the Oslo area merged. Language of instruction is Norwegian, but certain courses are taught in English.
