God has also been conceived as being incorporeal, a personal being, the source of all moral obligation, and the "greatest conceivable existent". These attributes were all supported to varying degrees by the early Jewish, Christian and Muslim theologian philosophers, including Augustine of Hippo, Al-Ghazali, and Maimonides. Many notable medieval philosophers developed arguments for the existence of God, attempting to wrestle with the apparent contradictions implied by many of these attributes. Philosophers have developed many arguments for and against the existence of God.

GuD-Kraftwerke, ausgeschrieben Gas- und Dampfturbinen-Kraftwerke, dienen überwiegend der Stromerzeugung, wobei Gasturbinen- und Dampfturbinenprozess miteinander kombiniert werden. Die Bezeichnung GuD-Kraftwerk ist in Deutschland üblich. Sie ist eine geschützte Bezeichnung der Firma Siemens Power Generation. In der Schweiz und in Österreich wird dieser Kraftwerkstyp eher als Kombikraftwerk bezeichnet. Im englischen Sprachraum spricht man von "Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP)" oder "Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT)". Wegen ihrer Schnellstartfähigkeit erzeugen GuD-Kraftwerk in Europa im wesentlichen Mittellaststrom - z.T. auch Spitzenstrom.
