Growl (wymawiaj []; ang. 'warczeć') - technika wokalna znana z bardziej ekstremalnych odmian muzyki metalowej. Jako pierwszy określono tak agresywny śpiew Conrada Lanta (Cronosa) z thrash/black metalowego zespołu Venom. Obecnie jednak używa się tej nazwy w stosunku do jeszcze bardziej ekstremalnych form ekspresji wokalnej.
