"Gone Away" is a song by American rock band The Offspring. It is the seventh track on their fourth studio album Ixnay on the Hombre (1997) and was released as the second single from the album. The song also appears as the sixth track on their Greatest Hits (2005). The song was written by lead singer Dexter Holland after he lost his girlfriend in a tragic car accident.

Cet album est assez varié: il possède des chansons de punk rock, mais aussi des chansons de ska et une chanson fantaisiste, Intermission, qui est en fait une reprise du fameux Tea for two composé en 1925 par Vincent Youmans et Irving Caesar, et joué entre autres par Django Reinhardt.
