Go On... was the third album by American pop band Mr. Mister. It was released in 1987, and featured a more serious tone than their previous album Welcome to the Real World, which was commercially successful. This album did not fare as well commercially and would become the last publicly released album by the band before they broke up in 1989.

They are old pronunciations of Chinese characters, believed to be taken from China to Japan prior to the importation (by the Kenzuishi envoy to the Sui dynasty and monks studying abroad) of readings from Chang'an during the Nara period. Like kan-on readings, they are said to display the characteristics of Middle Chinese.

On-Lesung (deutsch: Klang-Lesung, jap. 音読み on-yomi) ist ein Begriff aus der japanischen Schrift und bezeichnet eine Klasse von Aussprachemöglichkeiten für die in Japan verwendeten chinesischen Schriftzeichen (Kanji), die sich an den Klang des entsprechenden Chinesischen Wortes anlehnt; daher auch die Bezeichnung sinojapanische Lesung.

呉音（ごおん）とは、日本漢字音（音読み）の一つ。奈良時代に遣隋使や留学僧が長安から漢音を学び持ち帰る以前にすでに日本に定着していた漢字音をいう。漢音同様、中国語の中古音の特徴を伝えている。5, 6世紀に導入され、一般的に中国の南北朝時代、南朝の発音が直接、あるいは朝鮮半島（百済）経由で伝わったと言われるが、これは「呉」音という名称や倭の五王が南朝宋に朝貢したことや朝鮮半島から儒教や仏教など多くの文物を輸入したという歴史的経緯が根拠となるのであろう。しかし、呉音が本当に南方系統の発音かどうかについて、それを実証できるような史料はない。対馬音や百済音といった別名が示すように古代の日本人は呉音は朝鮮半島からきたと考えていた。呉音は仏教用語や律令用語でよく使われ、漢音導入後も駆逐されず、現在にいたるまで漢音と併用して使われている。なお『古事記』の万葉仮名には呉音が使われている。
