In
mathematical physics, a geometric algebra is a
multilinear algebra described technically as a
Clifford algebra over a real vector space equipped with a
non-degenerate quadratic form. Informally, a geometric algebra is a Clifford algebra that includes a geometric product. This allows the theory and properties of the algebra to be built up in an intuitive, geometric way. The term is also used in a more general sense to describe the study and application of these algebras: so Geometric algebra is the study of geometric algebras.
