GAZ(RTS:GAZA) or Gorkovsky Avtomobilny Zavod (Russia, Nizhny Novgorod), translated as Gorky Automobile Plant , started in 1929 as NNAZ, a cooperation between Ford and the Soviet Union. The name changed when the city was renamed after Maxim Gorky. From 1935 to 1956, the official name was augmented with imeni Molotova (literally, named after Molotov).

Un gaz est un ensemble d'atomes ou de molécules très faiblement liés et quasi-indépendants. Dans l'état gazeux, la matière n'a pas de forme propre ni de volume propre: un gaz tend à occuper tout le volume disponible. Cette phase constitue l'un des trois états dans lequel peut se trouver un corps pur, les autres étant les phases solide et liquide. Le passage de l'état liquide à l'état gazeux est appelé vaporisation. On qualifie alors le corps de vapeur (par exemple la vapeur d'eau).

Bei Gaz (persisch: گز) handelt es sich um eine persische Spezialität, die aus dem süßen Exsudat der Astragalus adscendens-Pflanze (Tragant), geschlagenem Eiweiß, Zucker und Pistazien bzw. Mandeln hergestellt wird. Die Süßigkeit, ähnlich dem weissen Nougat aus Montelimar, wird entweder einzeln in mundgroßen Portionen in Plastik eingeschweißt verkauft, höhere Qualitäten werden in ca. 12 cm im Durchmesser und 1 cm in der Dicke messende Kuchen geschnitten und in Mehl aufbewahrt, kartonweise verkauft. Die Konsistenz der frischen Ware ist zäh klebrig wie Türkischer Honig, der weiter dehydrierten Form hart und spröde.

Gorkowski Awtomobilny Sawod (GAS) ( ), in der Literatur auch als GAZ geschrieben, ist ein russischer Automobilkonzern mit Sitz in Nischni Nowgorod (von 1932 bis 1991 hieß die Stadt Gorki). Gegründet wurde GAS 1932 als Resultat des ersten Fünfjahrplans der Sowjetunion.

GAZ (ros. ГАЗ, skrót od Горьковский автомобильный завод) - marka rosyjskich samochodów produkowanych przez fabrykę Gorkowskij Awtomobilnyj Zawod w Niżnym Nowogrodzie (w latach 1932-1990 noszącym nazwę Gorki, stąd nazwa fabryki). Pod marką GAZ produkowane były samochody osobowe, ciężarowe i terenowe. Fabryka wytwarzała również pojazdy wojskowe.

Gaz - stan skupienia materii, w którym ciało fizyczne łatwo zmienia kształt i zajmuje całą dostępną mu przestrzeń. Właściwości te wynikają z własności cząsteczek, które w fazie gazowej mają pełną swobodę ruchu. Wszystkie one cały czas przemieszczają się w przestrzeni zajmowanej przez gaz i nigdy nie zatrzymują się w jednym miejscu. Między cząsteczkami nie występują żadne oddziaływania dalekozasięgowe, a jeśli, to bardzo słabe. Jedyny sposób, w jaki cząsteczki na siebie oddziałują, to zderzenia. Oprócz tego, jeśli gaz jest zamknięty w naczyniu, to jego cząsteczki stale zderzają się ze ściankami tego naczynia, wywierając na nie określone i stałe ciśnienie.
