Broken is the Grammy Award-winning extended play release by American industrial rock act Nine Inch Nails, released on September 22, 1992. Produced by Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor and Flood, the EP is considerably heavier and takes influence from industrial metal and noise rock, rather than the electronica style of Pretty Hate Machine, which was oriented towards synthpop.

Die EP Broken (auch bekannt als Halo 5) ist die fünfte Veröffentlichung von Nine Inch Nails. Obwohl dies eine EP ist, kann Broken als zweite Hauptveröffentlichung angesehen werden, da sich darauf ausschließlich neues Material befand. Zuvor kam Pretty Hate Machine und anschließend (nach einer Remix-EP) The Downward Spiral heraus.

Broken est le 2 album de Nine Inch Nails (NIN). Il est composé de 99 pistes (dont seulement 8 sont des chansons). Cet album au son très metal et radicalement différent de ce qu'a fait NIN auparavant, est sorti dans le secret le plus total en 1992, au moment où Trent Reznor connaissait de nombreux problèmes avec sa maison de disque TVT. Il sera suivi de son album de remix "fixed". Les chansons phares de cet album sont "wish","happiness in slavery" et "gave up".

Broken är en EP-skiva släppt av Nine Inch Nails 1992, bland annat innehållande hitlåten "Wish". Broken var Nine Inch Nails tredje projekt (Halo 3). Senare släpptes även en remixplatta på Broken med namnet Fixed.

Broken (Halo 05) - następne, po Pretty Hate Machine, wydawnictwo Nine Inch Nails. Muzyka zaprezentowana na nim jest o wiele mocniejsza od swojego poprzednika, mocno zahaczająca o metal. Pierwsze sześć utworów oddzielone jest od "Physical" (coveru utworu Adama Anta) oraz "Suck" (skomponowanym z zespołem Pigface) chwilą ciszy.
