Garganta
Garganta is a fictional comic book character published by AC Comics appearing in several of their titles, most commonly Femforce the title in which she debuted in 1990 (Garganta, the Woman, Femforce #30). Originally appearing as a one-off antagonist, she proved so popular with readers that she re-appeared two issues later and eventually became a regular character. In 2001, Garganta appeared her own comic book Garganta's Thrilling Science. A live-action movie entitled Gargantarama, starring Brenna Barry as Garganta, was released on DVD in February 2006. A sequel, Ghost of Garganta, was released December 14, 2010.

Garganta
Na anatomia, a garganta é a parte do pescoço anterior à coluna vertebral. Ela é formada pela faringe e laringe. Uma estrutura importante da garganta é a epiglote, que separa o esôfago da traquéia e previne a inalação de alimentos ou bebidas.

Garganta
En anatomía, la garganta es la parte del cuello anterior a la columna vertebral. Consiste en la faringe y la laringe.

La garganta contiene varios vasos sanguíneos, músculos de la faringe, la tráquea y el esófago. El Hioides es el único hueso ubicado en la garganta de los mamíferos.

La garganta es un área vulnerable en la mayoría de los animales, y corresponde a un lugar típico en el cual atacan los depredadores a su presa. La estrangulación y asfixia son dos tipos de ataques dirigidos particularmente en contra de la garganta.
