In medizinischen Zusammenhängen wird der Ausdruck floride oder auch florid (lat.: florere = blühen) zur Kennzeichnung einer Erkrankung verwendet, die sich im Stadium der vollständigen Symptomausprägung befindet. Man spricht von der floriden Phase oder dem floriden Stadium der Erkrankung.Beispiele sind die floride Gürtelrose oder die floride Zahnkaries
