Chronic cystic mastitis
Chronic cystic mastitis, also called fibrocystic disease, Diffuse cystic mastopathy and Mammary dysplasia is a condition rather than a disease. An estimated 30-60% of women suffer from this condition. It is characterized by noncancerous lumps in the breast. Nevertheless, it can be organised into the Mastitis spectrum.

fibrocystic breast disease

A common condition marked by benign (noncancerous) changes in breast tissue. These changes may include irregular lumps or cysts, breast discomfort, sensitive nipples, and itching. These symptoms may change throughout the menstrual cycle and usually stop after menopause. Also called benign breast disease, fibrocystic breast changes, and mammary dysplasia.
