- A form of lying that is usually forgiven because it is not intended to deceive.
- Fib (poetry), a form of poetry similar to haiku
- Fib, a Pictish kingdom, which went on to become Fife, in modern Scotland
- Fibonacci number, for which Fib is a common abbreviation, used in computer programming.
- A slang term used by Spanish locals for a festival goer in Benicasim.

Fib
Le fib est une forme de poésie s'appuyant sur la séquence de Fibonacci et ressemblant au haïku. C'est un poème composé de 6 vers et comptant 20 syllabes, chacun des vers comptant autant de syllabes que chaque ligne correspondante de la séquence de Fibonacci, soit 1/1/2/3/5/8. La seule restriction de cette forme poétique est que le nombre de syllabes (ou de pieds) doit être égal au nombre de syllabes de la célèbre séquence italienne.

Federazione Italiana Pallacanestro
La Federazione Italiana Pallacanestro (FIP) è l'organo di organizzazione e controllo della pallacanestro in Italia.
Il suo scopo è promuovere, regolare e sviluppare la pallacanestro in Italia, rispettando la legge italiana e applicando i regolamenti stabiliti dalla Federation Internationale de Basketball (FIBA) a cui è affiliata. Inoltre recepisce l'indirizzamento che le viene dato dal Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Italiano e dal Comitato Olimpico Internazionale. È l'unica federazione di pallacanestro ufficialmente riconosciuta in Italia da CONI e FIBA.
