Ferret
The ferret is a domesticated mammal of the type Mustela putorius furo. Ferrets are sexually dimorphic predators with males being substantially larger than females. They typically have brown, black, white, or mixed fur. They have an average length of 20 inches (51 cm) including a 5 inch (13 cm) tail, weigh about , and have a natural lifespan of 7 to 10 years.

Frettchen
Das Frettchen (Mustela putorius furo) ist die domestizierte Haustierform der Mustela-Untergattung Putorius (Iltisse). Es stammt mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit vom europäischen Iltis oder auch Waldiltis (Mustela putorius) ab. Weitere Vermutungen geben dem Steppeniltis eine Rolle bei der Entwicklung des Frettchens.

Furet
Le furet (Mustela putorius furo) est la sous-espèce domestique de l'espèce Mustela putorius. C'est donc le cousin domestique du putois (Mustela putorius putorius) et comme lui c'est un petit carnivore de la famille des mustélidés. Le furet est plus gros que la belette mais plus petit que la fouine ou la martre. Traditionnellement utilisé pour la chasse au lapin dans les terriers, il est de nos jours apprécié aussi comme animal de compagnie.

Tamiller
Tamiller (Mustela putorius furo), ibland frett (särskilt i äldre litteratur), är en tamform av iller, vilken används för bland annat kaninjakt. Namnet frett anses härstamma från det engelska namnet för iller, ferret (jämför franskans furet), medan furo i det vetenskapliga namnet är latin och betyder tjuv.

Ferret
Ferret – seria 16 satelitów wywiadowczych (wywiadu elektronicznego, ELINT) amerykańskich sił powietrznych. Wysyłano je w latach 1962-1971.
Miały za zadanie wychwytywać sygnały z sowieckich baz radarowych, podsłuchiwać komunikację głosową, oraz przechwytywać sygnały telemetrii rakiet i satelitów.
Z powodu zachowanej do teraz tajności satelitów, plan ich budowy miał wiele innych enigmatycznych nazw: Program 102, Program 770, 698BK (oznaczenie producenta).
