Forum for European–Australian Science and Technology Cooperation
The Forum for European–Australian Science and Technology Cooperation (FEAST) is a non-government organisation aimed at highlighting and developing collaborative research activities between Europe (European countries and the European Union) and Australia. Its offices are located at The Australian National University in Canberra, Australia.

Feast
Fest
Das Fest (v. lat. festum für das Feiern vorgesehener Zeitabschnitt; hebr. Moed fest-gesetzter Zeitpunkt für die Begegnung mit Gott) ist ursprünglich ein besonderer herausgehobener, vom Alltag unterschiedener, Zeitraum. Verwandt ist Feier (v. lat. feriae, urspr. fesiae). Beide Begriffe wurzeln in fanum: das Religiöse. Während des Festes ruhen profane Tätigkeiten. Feste und Feiern gliedern die Zeit in Zyklen, Perioden und Rhythmen, womit die Menschen sich Zeit und Leben handhabbar zu machen suchen (vgl. Feiertag und Feierabend).
