For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge (also known as F.U.C.K.) is the ninth
album by the
American hard rock band
Van Halen, released in
1991. The album's title came from lead singer
Sammy Hagar, who wanted to push the issue of censorship with naming Van Halen's album with a vulgarity, saying "That's when censorship was a big issue. I wanted to name the album just
Fuck." Hagar eventually backed away from the outright vulgarity after he was (mis)informed by his friend, former world lightweight boxing champion
Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini, that the word "fuck" was an
acronym for the phrase "For unlawful carnal knowledge.".

Fuck is an
English word that, as a
verb, fundamentally means to engage in
sexual intercourse. Its use is generally considered censurable and offensive in most formal circles, but may also be rather common or expected in certain informal situations.It is unclear whether the word has always been considered
vulgar, and if not, when it first came to be used to describe (often in an extremely angry, hostile or belligerent manner) negative or unpleasant circumstances or people in an intentionally offensive way, such as in the term "motherfucker", one of its more common usages.

Fuck est un
mot anglais qui, en tant que
verbe, signifie « avoir un
rapport sexuel ». « Fuck » peut être traduit en
français par le verbe « » ou encore « . » Il peut être utilisé en tant que
nom pour décrire une personne désagréable, offensante, ou de mauvais caractère (le terme « fucker » peut également être utilisé). Aujourd'hui, « fuck » est généralement considéré comme étant un mot

Ion fluorure
Un
ion fluorure F- est la forme ionique du
fluor. Il s'agit d'un atome de fluor qui a gagné un électron pour avoir une couche saturée. En tant qu'
halogène, le fluor forme un ion monovalent. Il porte une charge négative : c'est un
anion. Le fluorure forme un composé binaire avec un autre élément ou radical. L'ion fluorure est un
réducteur extrêmement faible, ses électrons étant fortement liés (
potentiel rédox de 2,87 V) à un noyau peu masqué. C'est aussi le plus petit
anion ce qui explique sa capacité élevée de fixation et de recombinaison à diverses molécules (y compris celles formant les dents et les os) et, en grande partie, sa
toxicité. Exemples de fluorures usuels : l'
acide fluorhydrique (
HF), et le fluorure de sodium (
NaF).

Transformée de Fourier
En analyse, la transformation de Fourier est un analogue de la théorie des
séries de Fourier pour les fonctions non périodiques, et permet de leur associer un spectre en fréquences. On cherche ensuite à obtenir l'expression de la fonction comme « somme infinie » des fonctions trigonométriques de toutes fréquences qui forment son
spectre. Une telle sommation se présentera donc sous forme d'intégrale. L'
analyse non standard permet de la présenter sous forme d'une série et justifie le point de vue intuitif. Séries et transformation de Fourier constituent les deux outils de base de l'
analyse harmonique.

Trasformata di Fourier
La trasformata di Fourier è una
trasformata integrale fra le più importanti della
matematica, con innumerevoli applicazioni nelle scienze, in particolare la
fisica (
acustica,
ottica,
cristallografia), e in matematica stessa (
analisi,
teoria della probabilità,
statistica,
teoria dei numeri,
geometria). Nella
teoria dei segnali, la trasformata di Fourier viene interpretata come rappresentazione di un segnale in termini di
frequenze e relative
ampiezze. Un esempio utile che può aiutare a comprendere meglio questo concetto è quello della musica: tramite la trasformata di Fourier possiamo scomporre una musica che ascoltiamo (il nostro segnale rilevato) nelle singole onde sonore prodotte dai diversi strumenti, ovvero il suono (con le frequenze e le relative ampiezze) della batteria, del basso, della chitarra, ecc.
