ETHANE
ETHANE is a mnemonic indicating a protocol used by emergency services to report situations which they may be faced with, especially as it relates to major incidents, where is may be used as part of their emergency action principles.ETHANE dictates the form in which the receiving control station should get information from the first person or officer on scene. In some jurisdictions, the alternative CHALET may be used.It stands for:Exact Location - The precise location of the incidentType - The nature of the incident, including how many vehicles, buildings etc. are involvedHazards - Both present and potentialAccess - Best route for emergency services to access the site, or obstructions and bottlenecks to avoidNumbers - Numbers of Casualties, Dead and Uninjured on sceneEmergency Services - Which services are already on scene, and which others are required

Ethane
Ethane is a chemical compound with chemical formula C2H6. It is the only two-carbon alkane, that is, an aliphatic hydrocarbon. At standard temperature and pressure, ethane is a colorless, odorless gas.Ethane is isolated on an industrial scale from natural gas, and as a byproduct of petroleum refining. Its chief use is as petrochemical feedstock for ethylene production.

Ethan
Ethan (standardsprachlich Äthan genannt) ist eine chemische Verbindung, die den  Alkanen zugehört (gesättigte Kohlenwasserstoffe). Es ist ein farb- und geruchloses Gas, das vor allem zu Heiz- und Verbrennungszwecken genutzt wird. Davon abgeleitet ist der Ethyl-Rest (C2H5). Ethan ist neben Methan ein Hauptbestandteil des Erdgases.

Etan - to węglowodór nasycony z szeregu homologicznego alkanów o wzorze C2H6.Etan występuje w przyrodzie jako jeden ze składników gazu ziemnego. Na skalę techniczną jest otrzymywany z produktów obróbki termicznej ropy naftowej i węgla kamiennego. Do celów laboratoryjnych można go otrzymać w wyniku elektrolizy stężonego roztworu octanu sodu: 2CH3COO- - 2e- → C2H6 + 2CO2
