Wikipedia English The Free EncyclopediaDownload this dictionary
Entryway
An entryway is a hall in a house that is located at the front entrance of the house. An entryway usually has linoleum or tile flooring rather than carpet. An entryway also often has a coat closet. Many houses do not have entryways, and in many houses the front door leads straight into the living room or some other room in the house. The majority of houses with entryways are located in the United Kingdom, as most modern American houses lack them.
