Auf Lernprozesse ausgerichtete Diagnostik, die auf die Veränderung einer schulischen Problemsituation abzielt, in der das Schülerverhalten nur eine von mehreren Variablen darstellt. Geht von den Fähigkeiten der Schüler aus. Im Mittelpunkt stehen nicht Lernergebnisse sondern Lernprozesse Förderdiagnostik versteht sich als Gegenpol zu Selektionsdiagnostik.
The educational diagnostic approach aims at analysing the learning process of students and at supporting it (not at segregating students). Educational difficulties are defined in terms of tasks, activities and classroom conditions. The focus is on identifying students strengths and on improving learning conditions.
