Drop may refer to:

General use
  • Drop (liquid) or droplet, a small volume of liquid
    • Eye drops, saline (sometimes mydriatic) drops used as medication for the eyes
  • Drop (volume), a unit of measure of volume
  • Falling (physics), or allowing an object to fall
  • Also, in a franchise, dropping a character means that a certain character is no longer seen nor mentioned.

Drop
Drop (engl. to drop „fallen (lassen)“) steht für:
  • die Übergabe eines Objekts an ein anderes auf der grafischen Benutzeroberfläche, siehe Drag and Drop
  • das Verwerfen eines Pakets ohne Rückmeldung in der IT-Sicherheit, siehe Firewall-Regelwerk
  • die Landung beim Fallschirmspringen
  • eine Disziplin des Mountainbike-Abfahrtslaufes, siehe Downhill
  • der Teil in einem Musikstück, bei dem sich die Musik zunächst bis zum Höhepunkt steigert, dann setzt eine kurze Pause ein (z.B. läuft die Bassline nicht weiter), bevor die Musik schließlich in vollem Umfang zurückkehrt.
