Downrock
Downrock is an element of breakdance that includes all footwork performed on the floor. Downrock is normally performed with the hands and feet on the floor, as opposed to toprock. In downrock, the breakdancer displays his or her proficiency with foot speed and control by performing footwork combinations. The foundational move of downrock is the 6-step, and combinations often transition from it into more athletic moves known as power moves.[1]

Breakdance
La breakdance (vero nome B-Boying o Breaking) è un ballo acrobatico sviluppatosi ad opera delle comunità afro-americane e latine a partire dal 1968 nel Bronx di New York. La Breakdance nasce musicalmente sui break del dj giamaicano Kool DJ Herc, padre fondatore della cultura Hip Hop.

Breakdance
Breakdance, ook bekend als breaking of b-boying, is een dansstijl. Het vormt samen met rap, graffiti en dj-en de vier elementaire onderdelen van hiphop.
Breakdance is ontstaan eind 1970er jaren, begin 1980er jaren in de zwarte achterstandswijken in New York. Dj’s in die tijd, zoals Afrika Bambaataa, Grandmaster Flash en DJ Kool Herc, begonnen draaitafels en een mixer te gebruiken om zo, een break in een nummer eindeloos door te laten draaien. Breakdance was uitgevonden om te dansen op deze nieuwe muziekstijl, die eerst bekend stond als electro, en zich later ontwikkelde tot hiphop en rap.

ブレイクダンス
ブレイクダンス（breakdance）はオールドスクールに分類されるストリートダンスの一つ。ブレイク、ブレイキンなどと略される。 正式にはブレイクビーツに合わせて踊るダンサーをB-boyと呼ぶことから(ブレイクダンス発祥の地がブロンクス地区であることから、という説もある)B-boyingと呼ぶ。B-boy、B-girlの“B”はBADやBLACKの“B”と認識されがちであるが、これは間違いである。ブレイクダンスという呼称は1984年の映画「ブレイクダンス（原題：Breakin'）」公開に伴い、このダンスがメディアに取り上げられ一般化したため浸透した。よって日本では通常ブレイクダンスと称される。

Breakdance
Um dos componentes da cultura hip hop,que segue do mc,Dj e graffit.
Breakdance foi o nome dado pela mídia a quatro danças urbanas que surgiram nos anos 70: O Break ou Bboying de Nova Iorque e ao Popping e Locking de Los Angeles. Este termo é discriminado e considerado desrespeito à cultura hip hop e as danças urbanas.
- O bboying tem vários fundamentos,que são top rock,foot work,freeze e o power moves. - O popping que de movimentos inspirados nos soldados quando se deslocavam depois de serem baleados. - O loocking e um movimento mais engresado digamos assim que o dançarino transmite ao dançar.
