Doctrina, del latín doctrina, significa un conjunto coherente de enseñanzas o instrucciones que pueden ser:
  • un cuerpo de enseñanzas basadas en un sistema de creencias.
  • principios o posiciones respecto a una materia o cuestión determinadas.
  • una serie de enseñanzas sobre una rama de conocimiento o de ciencia concreta.

Doctrină, (din limba latină  doctrina), înseamnă "o sumă de învăţături" ori "instrucţiuni", principii de învăţătură sau poziţii, precum corpul de învăţături în domeniul sistemelor credinţei sau ştiinţelor. Cuvântul corespunzător din limba greacă este la baza etimologiei cuvântului catehism.
