Dik Dik are an Italian beat-pop-rock band, established in the 1960s and still in activity. They were most popular in the late 1960s, when they released a string of hit singles with the contribution of renowned lyric-writer Mogol and songwriter Lucio Battisti, their greatest successes being Sognando la California and Senza luce, respectively cover of California Dreamin' by The Mamas and Papas and A Whiter Shade of Pale by Procol Harum. While their early production is mostly inspired by The Beatles, in the 1970s they also experimented in other genres, including progressive rock. They went on hiatus in the 1980s but later returned to the scenes, mostly in revival television shows and live performances.

A dik-dik, pronounced "dik' dik", is a small antelope in the Genus Madoqua that lives in the bushlands of eastern and southern Africa. Dik-diks stand 30–40 cm (approx. 12–16 inches) at the shoulder, are 50–70 cm (approx. 20–28 inches) long, weigh 3–6 kg (approx. 7–16 pounds) and can live for up to 10 years. Dik-diks are named for the alarm calls of the females. In addition to the female's alarm call, both the male and female make a shrill whistling sound. These calls may alert other animals to predators.

Les dik-diks (du genre Madoqua) sont des antilopes de petite taille, qui va de 30 à 40 cm. Le nom dik-dik vient du bruit qu'ils font lorsqu'ils sont en danger. Les dik-diks pèsent de 3 à 5 kg. Ils ont un museau allongé, et une légère fourrure qui est grise sur le dos, et blanche au niveau du ventre. Sur le haut du crâne, le pelage forme une touffe droite, qui cache parfois partiellement les cornes courtes du mâle.

Den största av arterna är Kirks dik-dik och den kan komma upp i en vikt på ungefär 7 kilogram och ha en mankhöjd på runt 45 centimeter.
