Dashond
Een dashond is een hondenras en wordt in het Nederlands meestal teckel genoemd.
Er zijn verschillende soorten teckels:
- langharig: gekruist met spaniëls en Ierse setters
- ruwharig: gekruist met diverse terriërs en de Schnauzer
- kortharig: originele type
- standaard
- dwerg
- kaninchen.
Oorspronkelijk zijn ze gefokt om te jagen op dassen, wat de naam 'dashond' verklaart.
