A crosier (crozier, pastoral staff) is the stylized staff of office carried by high-ranking Roman CatholicEastern OrthodoxAnglican, some Lutheran and Pentecostal prelates. The other typical insignia of most of these prelates, but not all, are the mitre and the episcopal ring.
