The Coree (also Connamox, Cores, Corennines, Connamocksocks, Coranine Indians, Neuse River Indians) were a very small Native American tribe, who once occupied a coastal area of southeastern North Carolina in the area now covered by Carteret and Craven counties. Early 20th-century scholars were unsure of what language they spoke, but the coastal areas were mostly populated by Carolina Algonquian peoples.

Korea ( ; Hanguk or Joseon – (see etymology) is an East Asian region that is divided into two separate sovereign states — North Korea and South Korea. Located on the Korean Peninsula, Korea is bordered by China to the northwest, Russia to the northeast, and is separated from Japan to the east by the Korea Strait and the Sea of Japan (East Sea), and separated from Taiwan to the south by the East China Sea.

La Corée est une péninsule d’Asie de l’Est d’environ située entre le Japon et la Chine. Elle est surnommée le Pays du matin calme (litt. : le pays du Matin Frais : Han-guk (한국, ) ou Joseon (ou Choson) (조선, ). La Corée est divisée en deux États depuis la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale : la République de Corée, au Sud, est capitaliste et compte aujourd’hui près de 50 millions d’habitants, la République populaire démocratique de Corée, au Nord, est communiste et environ deux fois moins peuplée. Les relations entre les deux États sont tendues.
