Condensation
Condensation is the change of the physical state of matter from gaseous phase into liquid phase, and is the reverse of vaporization. When the transition happens from the gaseous phase into the solid phase directly, the change is called deposition.

Kondensation
Als physikalische Kondensation bezeichnet man das Übergehen eines Stoffes vom gasförmigen in den flüssigen Aggregatzustand. Als Produkt entsteht das Kondensat. Dieser Prozess erfolgt unter bestimmten Druck- und Temperaturbedingungen, die man als Kondensationspunkt bezeichnet. Während des Übergangs bleibt die Temperatur konstant, sämtliche entzogene Wärme wird in Form der Kondensationswärme in die Zustandsänderung investiert. Das Gegenteil der Kondensation ist das Verdampfen (in Form von Sieden oder Verdunstung).

Sequenzielle Monte-Carlo-Methode
Sequenzielle Monte-Carlo-Methoden (SMC-Methoden) gehören zur Klasse der stochastischen Verfahren zur Zustandsschätzung in einem dynamischen Prozess (z. B. in der mobilen Robotik), dessen Dynamik nur im statistischen Mittel bekannt ist (wesentliche Störgrößen) und der nur unvollständig beobachtet werden kann (Unterteilung in innere, verborgene und äußere, sichtbare Variable). Ein Anwendungsbeispiel ist die genaue und kontinuierlich aktualisierte Bestimmung des Ortes und der Geschwindigkeit eines Objektes aufgrund einer ungenauen und fehlerhaften Messung des Ortes (vgl. Tracking). SMC-Filter sind auch bekannt als Partikel-Filter, sampling importance resampling (SIR), sequential importance sampling (SIS), bootstrap filters, condensation trackers, interacting particle approximations oder survival of the fittest.

Condensation
La condensation est le nom donné au phénomène physique de changement d'état de la matière qui passe d'un état dilué (gaz) à un état condensé (solide ou liquide). On peut expérimenter ce changement d'état en passant lors d'une douche où, au contact du miroir froid, l'humidité de l'air se transforme en gouttelettes.

Skraplanie
Skraplanie lub kondensacja - zjawisko zmiany stanu skupienia, przejścia substancji z fazy gazowej w fazę ciekłą.
Skraplanie może zachodzić przy odpowiednim ciśnieniu i w temperaturze niższej od temperatury krytycznej. Zestaw parametrów; ciśnienie i temperatura, dla których rozpoczyna się proces skraplania nazywany jest punktem rosy.
Kondensacja wiąże się ze zmniejszeniem odległości miedzy cząsteczkami substancji. Spadek temperatury powoduje, że cząsteczki poruszają się wolniej. Siły oddziaływania między nimi wzrastają, aż do momentu uzyskania nowego stanu równowagi. Przy tym zachodzi wydzielanie energii w postaci ciepła. Cząsteczki tworzą zwartą masę, jednak nie powstają między nimi trwałe wiązania charakterystyczne dla ciał stałych.
